The
main ingredients are 750 grams of cassava, brown sugar to taste ( According to
your taste), Cooking oil to taste, enough flour (for dough coating), salt and
water to taste.
How
to make :
The
first thing to do to make a tara’jo cake batter is peeled cassava, then cut
into small pieces and then wash thoroughly, then steam cassava until tender and
ripe, then drain, while warmly crushed cassava using subordinate glass but not
too smooth, add brown sugar and salt to taste into the batter and stir until
blended, then form round dough then flatten, after all tara'jo batter has been
in round shape, make a thick dough of wheat flour sufficiently for coating
before frying. Heat the oil, if it has been hot dip the tara'jo into the dough
of the thick coating earlier, then back and forth and put it into the oil that
has been in the heat, behind tara'jo if the bottom side is dry and fry using
medium fire, because if using a fire big sometimes cracked, fried all tara'jjo
until cooked and browned. If it is cooked, remove and drain. Delicious served
with tea and other beverages.
