Story
Line :
The
movie "The Good Dinosaur" tells the story of a brontosaurus that has
a cowardly nature that is Arlo. Arlo is different from his brothers (Buck and
Libby). The father (poppa) and the mother (Momma) make a mark on a warehouse.
Poppa does not allow his children to make a mark if they have not passed the
father's test. Both of Arlo's brothers had made a mark. However, Arlo still can
not overcome the weaknesses that exist in him. So Poppa gives the task of
catching pests that steal their food supplies. Arlo managed to catch the pest
that turned out to be is human child. Feeling sorry for the boy, Arlo let him
go. Poppa was disappointed that Arlo could not relieve his fear. Poppa and Arlo
chased the boy very far from where they lived until a great storm came and
swept away the poppa. After the incident, Arlo met the child again. They were
stuck in the stream and Arlo got lost far away from his home. Arlo and the boy
(named Spot) became friends and looked for a way home together to reunite with
their family. In the middle of the journey, they meet many creatures and Arlo
can overcome his fear. Until Arlo can make a mark with his family because of
his courage
Review :
Disney
PIXAR is no doubt in terms of visual and animation because of the uniqueness of
the concept and the beauty of setting the story to be more than just this
movie. Throughout the movie "The Good Dinosaur" aired, the scenery is
beautiful and looks very real. As the grass moves, fireflies emit light at
night, fall leafes, and water flows very real. In addition to setting the
environment of this movie, print music is right in every scene so this movie
feels very real to the audience. The "The Good Dinosaur" movie
provides a very simple message (predictable) compared to other PIXAR movies.
There are many wisdom that can be taken from the story of one learned not to
blame others for the disaster he was experiencing. "The Good
Dinosaur" may not be as good as other Pixar movies, but it's a perfect
spectacle to educate kids, this movie is perfect.
